The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine through its involvement in the EU LAC Focus Project proposed CATALYST: Harmonising Actions in the Caribbean Creative Ecology - A Creative Ideas Lab, to enhance current approaches to develop the region’s creative sector. CATALYST is a joint effort between The UWI, The British Council and The EU LAC. The EU LAC FOCUS is a collaborative project funded by the European Commission under Grant Agreement No 693781. This forum seeks to harmonise the activities of the actors, agencies and stakeholders in the Caribbean creative ecology including international funders, regional agencies, national governments, cultural workers and creative enterprises.
