The objectives of the kick off meeting can be summarised in the following overall goals:

  • Ensure a general understanding of the overall project goals as well as the specific work package objectives, activities and interconnections.
  • Obtain a clear overview and understanding of the specific activities and actions to be implemented by each and all partners.
  • Enhance knowledge of the EC H2020 administrative process, including project reporting, financial statements etc.
  • Obtain a joint understanding of working and communication procedures for the project, including use of web based tools.
  • Networking among project participants to enhance communication among research teams.
